Yeah, right, 8 tonnes of CO2

So I took the carbon footprint test. It says I produce about 8 tonnes (British spelling) of carbon a year. That's less than half of the 19 TONS Americans produce on average, but I still don't think it's accurate.

For example, I'm quoted as producing 3.86 tons for household energy. Not bad, but it assumes things (like heating) that don't apply to most Hawaii residents. Instead of having to choose a household heating type from "Electricity" to "Wood," (and what's the percentage on that?), they should have included an option for "None."

Take that into account, and my biggest carbon producing activity is air travel. I think that's pretty good.
