Fall weather is here

About a week and a half ago, the weather here in Shanghai suddenly cooled down. On Monday the fourth, I walked outside, and BAM! was greeted by a gush of not-life-forsakingly-humid air.

It continued for a few days, but I thought that it was just a cold front. Now, More than a week later, I guess fall is here.

I think it's strange mostly because the drop in temperature is so huge. It went from 95°transparent-shirt-by-the-time-you-get-to-the-subway-station weather down to long-sleeve-shirt low 70s virtually overnight. Some places in China have already gotten snow.

I remember my dad once telling me that Minnesota would sometimes get snow in October, and parts of Inner Mongolia are pretty high up there, but snow in mid-September is just plain weird.
