I got really lazy in October, so a lot of the following October posts were written ex POST facto (heh, heh) in November.
Another irritation I ask you to put up with is that for the foreseeable future, my blog is essentially text-only. My online file host has been going through a change in ownnership or something, so the files you see linked here and there can't be viewed.
Sorry about that, but please read on anyway.
