The value of leftovers

Here's an article about China's poor -- people that finish the leftovers of restaurant guests because they can't buy their own.

At first, I didn't understand the title "'Cleftover Clan' triggers Chinese relfection on vice". After reading the article, though, I understood what the vice was: wasting food.

Plate sizes in American restaurants are really big. When I worked in a restaurant, I saw a lot of food being thrown out every day. This made me think about how much I waste, and to be more mindful about what I consume.
