I found out on March 20 that I didn't pass the PMF test either. Out of 3,200 test takers, only 800 were chosen. I was one of the 75 percent that didn't make it.
Competition must have been tough -- everyone that took the test was a graduate student, and many of them had to go through university level competitions just to get nominated.
So I guess I won't be pursuing my dream of a federal career anytime soon. I guess the good thing is that the private sector's quicker about hiring folks and pays better. After the past three months, I can definitely appreciate that.
