Last week I got word that my brother-in-law's father passed away. At first it seemed like it was a heart attack, though now (according to the grapevine) the word is "pulmonary embolism" caused by not walking around enough on their flight back from Ireland.
In the words of my brother, "its kinda grounding realizing that's how fragile life really is...a few short trips to the bathroom and this could have been avoided..."
