OK I'm really ticked off at the State Department.
You may recall my October post that I had been reimbursed for a lot of my tests. Well, I just got a bunch of mail from my parents and it seems they didn't pay the last thing they ordered us to do.
In January, while my appeal was pending, the medical office required SY to do additional tests. The total, about $201, was billed directly to the State Department, but they never paid it.
In the time between we left and when I got the box, the hospital had sent the bill to a collection agency. Now I have a collection agency mailing stuff to an address I'm no longer at.
Sometimes living overseas really sucks, and this is one of those times.
I'll send the collection agency the orders I received from State, and see if they can sort it out. Until then, I have to call every so often to make sure it doesn't affect my credit report.
