Yesterday I passed the Officer Review Board, along with both of the other candidates. It was stressful, sure, but the State department's exam is worse. I suppose that's the whole idea, though -- after the State test I think the actual training is pretty easy. With the Army I'm sure it's the other way around.
So I'll go in next week, probably Thursday, to be sworn in under the delayed enlistment program. That, of course, comes with the promise of Officer Candidate School immediately afterward. But if I ship out in May for basic, I'll finish in late July, early August and go straight into OCS in the hot, Georgia summer.
*sigh*
