In basic training we used what are called "static displays" to save time in the morning. They lasted only one week because we had to turn in our sheets on Thursdays.
In OCS we had a cadre member who wouldn't permit static displays -- on nights when he had staff duty he'd go around at night and check to make sure we weren't sleeping on top of our sheets.
In BOLC2, however, we could pretty much do whatever we wanted with our rooms, as long as they were sanitary. So I made my bed once and slept on top of the sheets for seven straight weeks. No longer, though -- I turned my sheets today for probably the last time.
Tomorrow, we leave Fort Sill for (hopefully) the last time.
