A blizzard his the Midwest this week, causing the Vikings Metrodome to collapse.
The Bears (9-3) hosted the Patriots (10-2) in the snow at Soldier Field, and got spanked 36-7. It was 33-0 at the end of the first half, an embarrasment unrivaled since at least the 1960s.
As if that wasn't bad enough, the channel I was watching switched over to the Jets (9-3) - Dolphins (6-6) game. I was so disgusted I turned off the TV.
My only consolation was that the Packers lost to the Lions for the first time in many, many years, allowing the Bears to retain their spot at the top of the division.
