Homesick already

I'm surprised as how much free time I have these days. I have no trouble filling it, though. Right now, in anticipation of an Olmstead scholarship application later this year, I'm studying Rosetta Stone Japanese.
Tbis one picture, though, made me very homesick. It reminded me of my son. (It says, "The boy is sitting.")





As the Japanese would say, 「後ろ髪を引かれる思い」, I feel like I'm being pulled back. It's at times like this I wonder if it was ever a good idea to join the Army.

(At least my Japanese is improving.)
