Concrete pad

There are a lot of projects that I would've liked to have finished before I leave Tarin Kowt, and the motor pool development plan that I drew up in May is one of them.

The plan is to lay down a concrete pad, in two phases, to replace the metal pallets the mechanics currently have to lay on. The third phase is to put gravel down in the rest of the motor pool to prevent mud from messing up the trucks too badly during the upcoming rainy season.

You can see in the foreground that it's just bare dirt and imagine how muddy this place will be. I'm glad it at least started before I left.
