St. Louis

On our return trip coming back from leave, we made a couple stops around St. Louis -- on Sunday the 8th I took the family to the church whose members helped sponsor my company in Afghanistan.

Its members sent us gifts for Christmas and some incredible chocolate brownies. The lady standing here with us was the principal contributor and organizer for the donations.



Then, on Monday, I visited the middle school that had written a lot of people in my company letters while we were deployed. The person on the left is the one who organized the whole thing.
