On February 27th, Time reported that "Chuck Norris" is the top contender for the name of a new pedestrian and cycling bridge connecting Slovakia to the neighboring country of Austria." [Source]
As quoted in the March 12 print issue (p.15), Slovak government official Pavol Fresco appeared ready to abide by the poll's decision. "We will seek that the name is accepted by the public," he said. Time reported that nearly three-quarters of the votes so far favor naming the bridge after American action star and Internet meme sensation Chuck Norris.
So we're going to have a Chuck Norris Bridge. There's only one problem:
No one crosses Chuck Norris and lives....

Perhaps if you pay proper tribute by crossing the bridge while doing a series of roundhouse kicks...
I suspect the walkers will be safe--there was never a show called "Cyclist, Texas Ranger."
