CLC3 Day 67: Exchange officer brief

Yesterday, we were told to meet in the auditorium at 8:20. When I asked why, I was told, "Some ... joint thing..."

We often don't get the details.

It turned out to be a very interesting series of briefs by the international officers -- a lt. colonel and a major from the U.K., and lt. colonels from France, Germany, and Australia.  That took up the whole morning.

During lunch, I mailed my "Demonstrated Logitician" packet to the Society of International Logistics. They offer Army officers professional certification similar in concept to the kinds you see in the accounting profession.

If that goes through my $50 will have bought me some initials I can put on future business cards and a little extra filler for my ORB's "Remarks" section.

After lunch, we got a lesson about the LEW -- an Excel spreadsheet that's designed to help make logistical predictions. That took us up to 2:45, and then we were done!
