CLC3 Day 90: Drifting, SOLE

My Individual Concept of Support is drifting along without any big breakthroughs. It's a little difficult for me because I really don't understand what the end result is supposed to look like.

Some people are going all out, and have made some really impressive, beautiful products -- well-designed PowerPoint presentations that have a lot of information on each slide.

Copying people's products is clearly a no-no, so I'm going the opposite direction -- a much more minimalist approach. Partly, it's because I really have no clue what to put on the slides, or even how relevant the provided templates are. The other part is that I'm not going to generate content just for the sake of making things look important.

We'll see how that goes, I guess.

In other news, I received my International Society of Logistics (SOLE) certification. They gave me Demonstrated Senior Logistician (DSL) -- better than "DL" but less than "Demonstrated Master Logistician."

It's kind of funny because the congratulations letter said I'd get the official pin only once I get out of the Army. For $50, you'd think they could spare a pin now, but it's not really a big deal. I just wanted something to fill in more white space on my ORB.
