I finished reading The Three Musketeers today. As with all things, the book is better than the movie (at least the 1999 and 2012 ones).
There are some significant differences with the movies -- Cardinal Richelieu is not so villanous, Constance is already married, and there's a salacious relationship between d'Artagnan and Milady de Winter. These get left out of the movies in order to simplify the plot and polarize the characters, but I enjoyed the level of complexity in the book.
