Getting permanent plates

Today's big news was a trip to the Pyeongtaek DMV for the car's permanent plates. It wasn't too stressful, since we SOFA (Status of Forces Agreement) customers get our own line.

The basic fee is 16,000 won, with another 2,000 (~$18 total) for car models like mine that need new holes drilled in the plates, since the "pre-drilled" ones don't line up. Happily, you don't have to worry about doing that yourself. The DMV has people who will do that for you. How about that for cool!
