Welcome to Korea

I'm not sure how to classify this -- as either the 9th or the 10th (because of the dateline). However, we left Seattle at 8:30 a.m. and flew 10 hours to Yokota Air Base outside Tokyo.

We sat just in front of the left wing in two rows near the windows, which worked well -- we could pass snacks back and forth easily. Gratefully, C slept well in the first half and P during the second half.

We landed in Yokota at about 11:30, and waited until about 1:30 to reboard the same plane. We then took off at about 2:00. Here's a picture of Mount Fuji on our way to Korea.

We landed at Osan Air Base at 4:30, then took busses to Yongsan (in Seoul). I don't remember what time we left but we arrived at about 8:00. We did some quick in-processing, then checked into the Dragon Hill Lodge and got to sleep around 10:00.
