Brazilian Grill

Among the things I wish we'd done in Texas is "eat at Fogo de Chao Churrascaria," a Brazilian steakhouse in Austin. Unfortunately, Austin was a one-hour drive from where we lived, so there was never really a convenient time.

You can imagine my excitement, then, to come to Pyeongtaek and see a Brazilian steakhouse right down the street from our house -- a two minute drive. Though it's taken us a while to make our way over there, we finally went there for lunch today. Alas, this place was not what I'd imagined. Yes, there was lots of steak, but the experience was seriously anti-climatic.

SY could not eat all the meats they brought out, and the kids got bored pretty quickly. Yet despite paying full price for the two of us (and half for P), we couldn't take anything home. Though SY didn't even finish a full round of samples, the rationale that "it's a buffet" still applied.

So after dropping over $70 for a lunch, we got a less-than-satisfactory experience, and couldn't even get a take out box.

Thumbs down.
