FSOT: Passed
Back on June 6th I took the Foreign Service Officer Test (FSOT) for the first time since 2012. Today I got the results. -- I passed. Yay!
Here's how the score broke down:
Job Knowledge: 66.81
Situational Judgment: 60.01
English Expression: 53.34
The sum of the three multiple choice sections was 180.16, which was comfortably above the 154 minimum, though I was surprised to see I did better on the job knowledge than on English Expression and my essay only met the minimum score to pass (6 out of 12).
If I have to take it again, I'll know what to spend more time error checking.
The next step is to write the Personal Narratives. I have to write six essays about my motivation, leadership, and experiences related to the Foreign Service. The due date is July 11th.
