License, registration, G-8, online training
Every Tuesday the garrison has driver's education on a first-come, first-serve basis. That's what I did this morning. It started at 8:00 and by 11:00 I had finished the test.
By 3:30 I had picked up my license, registered my new (used) car, and given my paperwork to the dealership to be filed with the district office. If things go well tomorrow morning, my car might be ready for pickup around noon.
I also in-processed with the G-8. These are the people who will process my paychecks, so that was important -- I just need to find my SF50. I'll also need to work with then on getting a government travel card.
And I'm not sure why, but my CAC started working today, so I did the Cyber Awareness training. I think that's everything I need to get my email up and running, but the system access request can wait until tomorrow.
