Open containers
One of the things I like about Germany is that there are no rules against open containers. Folks just don't get hung up about children seeing adults drinking.
And since you can walk around with a drink, there are kiosks around that sell them. This is the one near our apartment. They're more expensive, but sometimes -- like when the weather is nice and sunny -- it's nice to just sit in the park and have an adult beverage.
