On "indoctrination"

The question is not "were we ever indoctrinated?"
It's a matter of *what* we were socialized to value.

The same is true of the next generation. It's not "how do we prevent them from being indoctrinated?" It's what are socializing them to value?"

Because one way or another, we are teaching our children *something.*
