Metsamor
Today I passed by the Metsamor nuclear power facility.
It has the dubious distincion of being the most dangerous nuclear facility in the world. Armenia faces a difficult situation because most of Metsamor's power goes to residences and transportation, so they can't really afford to take it offline for renovations. Nor can they just shut it down, because then they'd have to import a lot more oil/natural gas, and that become a touchy considering its relationship with Azerbaijan.
