On the left is the theater. [Rapper Snoop Dogg would have performed there, but his concert was cancelled because of the violence over the Nagorno-Karabakh region.] On the right is the Grand Hotel Yerevan.
The Grand Hotel is pretty fancy. It has a rooftop pool (and bar) as well as a beautiful ground floor courtyard (and bar).
Nearby are is the Saint Anna Church, which was built in 2014. On its grounds is the Katoghike Church, which dates back to 1264.
I also noticed there's also a "Chinese Corner" (汉文角). My guess is it's a cultural center that promotes language study and China's soft power.
