We spent the weekend, from the 20th to the 23rd, in Strasbourg. Here are some of the pictures I haven't already posted.
We stayed at the Novotel, which is very close to the train station (even though we drove).

Strasbourg has a good light rail system, but we mostly walked wherever we wanted to go.

The
University of Strasbourg lies a bit northeast of the city center.

There, we found a stationary bike.

On the way back, we passed the
Eglise Reformée de Saint Paul.

It seemed that no matter where we were in the city, though, we could always see the big cathedral that's in the city center.

Today, Strasbourg is a French city with a lot of German history, as evidenced by the half-timber construction.

The German influence still lingers in many of the place names, such as the "Pont de Spitzmuhle."

Other interesting place are the locks (to the southwest) and the grand plaza (Place Kléber) in the city center.

The city has a lot on international cuisine options. In addition to the Ichi Ni San & Go, we found a Korean restaurant.
