This year's rainy season (장마,
jangma) has been the driest my wife can remember. It officially started in the last week of June, but then went through a pause (소강상태, 小康狀態) of about a week.
While we've had a few storms since then, and the rice fields aren't in danger of drying out anymore, it's still been less rainy than I expected. Compared with the typical, oppressive humidity, I prefer rainy days like this one we had on the 17th.
