Spekulatius

I saw these in the grocery store and spent an inordinate amount of time with Google Translate trying to figure our what "Spekulatius" means. Is it cinnamon? Pumpking spice? Vanilla?
It turns out, it's the brand name of a cookie that has a clove, cardamom, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

So while in America we would say "pumpkin spice," in German it's "Spekulatius Gewürz" -- Spekulatius spice.

And as you can guess, it's "only for a short time."
