Twice Makes It Always

Here's a tip for you in relationships -- don't do the same thing twice in a row. That way, you'll never have to hear a "You always do that!"

In December, when I went from nice, warm Hawaii to Korea for the wedding, I had a hard time waking up in the morning. From the time I got up until a while after I got to bed, I was cold. The floor outside the bedroom was cold, I had to walk on a cold floor to take a brief hot shower (before the water turned cold), then walk to the subway station in the cold weather.

When I came home, I was so cold I went to sleep with all of my clothes on. As the night went by and the floor heated up, I would take things off when I got hot. The next morning, I'd start all over again.

By the second day, I was a little grouchy.

And SY didn't like it. "You're always grouchy in the morning!" she complained.

*sigh* It happened twice. That made it "always."
