Rough Day

Today, we had the final test for Finance, two case studies in IT Management, and our business plan Executive Summaries to turn in.

For some reason, I thought we had IT class first, so I didn't prepare the "cheat sheet" (a single-side sheet of notes) we could write on. Doh! Then, when I got to class, I realized I didn't bring my calculator! I had to drive 30 minutes, pick it up, and then come back. Argh! Fortunately, there was a presentation for the first hour, so I didn't miss much test time.

On Sunday night at 9:30, the professor for Entrepreneurship sent us an email saying he had our executive summaries graded and that we could pick them up from his apartment anytime before 11:45am on Monday. Thanks for the notice!

I just happened to read that email Monday morning (I wouldn't have checked my email if it wasn't for a study group I led on Monday afternoon), so I was able to pick up the correct paper. When my group met up today (remember - no school yesterday), we were able to correct some things, but the timing wasn't great.

Because the rules stipulate that the summaries have to be submitted in person, I had to drive another 3o minutes back to UH in the rain to get them turned in on time.

*sigh*

Well, everything got done that needed to get done....
