Micromanagement, Withdrawal

In the controversy surrounding Congress's attempts to pull troops out of Iraq, Bush has accused Congress of "micromanagement." Refusing to commit to a timetable for withdrawal, Bush often uses phrases like "embolden the enemy" and "support the troops."

Given that I tend to believe what I'm told, I thought this article from the Chicago Tribune was enlightening. Rather than Congress "micromanaging" the war, it reminded me that the current administration was criticized by the military for micromanagement.

Concerning the timetable, the Daily Show had a great bit last night with First Term Bush "debating" Currect Bush. [YouTube Link]
