Hines Ward

2006 Superbowl MVP Hines Ward in an interesting guy. I saw his short biography just prior to the 2007 Superbowl, and came away with a deep respect not just for him, but also his mother.

Though because of his mixed Korean and black American parentage he could have been scorned as a "튀기," (half-breed), he's also widely respected in Korea.

There's discussion over that's truly sincere or just nationalistic media-hype, but I'll only reference what I've read in other places:
