StarCraft in Korea

StarCraft came out in the U.S. in 1998, and I can't think of anyone that still plays it. In Korea,however, it continues to be a huge hit.

Newspapers covered a big tournament in Busan recently. While I'm typing out this his post at a PC room, people are playing it around me. And for those who can't ever get enough, you can also watch multi-players games on cable television. Check this out:

I found the clip below referenced on this blog, and consider it a great example of the hype that's been built around a game that is now almost a decade old.
