NJ trip

Given our proximity to my family in New Jersey, we thought it appropriate to pay a visit, not only to say hi, but also to drag the junk out of my grandfather's house that he'd been keeping since our move to China in 2006.

It was also an opportunity to drive the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, something that I've wanted to do for a long time.

Nothing particularly notable as far as news, but we did get a number of memorable pictures.

A view of one direction from the other.

In order to let ocean traffic come past the bridge, there are several sections of tunnels. Here's one such span, from one terminus to another.

On our way back, we also took the Cape May, New Jersey ferry to Lewes, Delaware. Though it didn't really save us a lot of time and the fee was way more than we would have spent on gas, it was fun.

And yes, that guy was actually windboarding in the Delaware Bay.
