NTC Day 4

We had to be at the company headquarters by 0620 this morning to meet up and go over to the draw yard. When we got to the drawyard, though, we found out that the battalion-level person who was supposed to sign for them first didn't want to do that.

I didn't understand this -- the guy whose duty was to facilitate the process didn't want to take responsibility. Uh...OK. Eventually it happened, because we eventually got our stuff, but I wonder how high up it went before it came back down to this guy that he had to do his job.

Here we are racking out while we waited.

Whatever time it was, I wasn't around. At 1115 I left to get lunch and then head over to the company command post for my staff duty. In essence, I had to stop doing nothing so I could go do nothing somewhere else.
