Today we had a cookout at work to mark the first official day of summer (not that we'd need a calendar to know it was summer here). We must have had the biggest steaks I've ever seen at a barbeque -- just obscene. The chicken was great, too -- cooked throughout but really tender, and well seasoned.
It was a point of pride for us that these steaks came from the American DFAC on Camp Cole -- better than what we could get from Australians' "mess."
That's pretty good if you can impress Australians with your "bahbee."
