I had a long day. We started out at 5:20 with a urinalysis, followed by an 8:20 start time to finish up our Initial Assessment Exercise.
We put in a lot of effort, but let's face it -- we're logisticians, not maneuver officers. Our plan had more holes than Swiss cheese, but of course that was inevitable. The purpose of the exercise was to help us realize we're neither all that nor the bag of chips.
For some in the class, it was a huge knock-down.
Lucky me, though -- our SGL stopped the presentation and evaluated us before it was my turn to speak. :-) We finished up at around 3:30.
That wasn't the end of the day for me, though -- I had staff duty from 4:30 to 7:30. Not too bad, all things considered -- the ALU hosts night classes for some local colleges, so that kept things busy.
