CLC3 Day 37: Early day

The day started out at 5:30 with a company run. The last FY2012 group is about to graduate, and the next class hasn't kicked off yet, so it was just us. It was pretty short, but I'm fairly out of shape -- while I was in combatives I didn't do any other PT.

Insruction began at 8:00. We've been studying transportation functions; today we covered theater airflift, contracting, container management, aerial port of operations, and JLOTS (joint logistics over the shore -- how you get stuff ashore when there are no decent port facilities).

During lunch, I attended the promotion ceremony for one of my phase 1 classmates. Afterward, we got out early -- I think that was the intent behind starting at 8:00.
