CLC3 Day 47: RFOs

Today was the appointed day for our RFOs (Requests For Orders) to come in. Some got them; I didn't.

We started the day with a 5:30 formation, ready to do our weekly run. However, because there's a charity run tomorrow morning, we were dismissed until our class started. Many were irritated to have gotten up hours earlier than necessary for nothing, but I used the time to work on leg lifts.

Class started at 8:00 with an assessment of our Transportation knowledge. It was bit strange because it focused almost entirely on the Highway Regulation, rather than the whole Transportation block. After this we had a couple hours of instruction on BCS3, and then broke for lunch.

I went to the award ceremony for the GAFPB, though I'm still working on the last two events. I was sad not to have gotten the badge, It was nice to see the friend I'd dragged along get his. He had trouble with the shotput too, and only passed his swim on his third attempt.

In the afternoon we had our Suicide Prevention training, and finished at 2:45. I went swimming in the evening, and made some encouraging progress on my swim. I'll spend tomorrow recovering and stretching, and then do some long jump practice at nearby Virginia State University on Sunday.
