The LEX continued to drag on through today, starting at 8:00 and ending just before 5:00. Not a lot is going on, but one probem we're facing is the disconnect between our digital supply status in our tracking software and the exercise's "pen & paper reality."
For example, we submit a resupply request to the central control "Dungeon Master" for food. Whether that gets updated in the system or not, we start tracking that we've received the food. But if our supplier (the sustainment brigade) is having problems of its own, the system might not get updated at all.
That leads to the discrepancy between what we're tracking on paper and what the system says. If those discrepancies don't get corrected, over time we'll get a butterfly effect that will make our computers essentially useless.
We'll see how things work our tomorrow.
