CLC3 Day 89: Coming together

At this point I think I've figured out what I need to do for the ICOS brief. My first task is to come up with a logistics estimate, which is what the unit will *need* during the operation. From there I'll figure out how to get it to them.

The hard part is understanding all the facts and assumptions I'll have to make along the way.

From your post, that was exactly how my husband started it out. You can't go anywhere unless you have your numbers straight. I honestly think that ICOS should be a 2 week event. There's so many logisticians who have not worked in a BCT SPO or even a BN SPO, like yourself. My husband was a XO in a FSC in an infantry BN at Fort Polk before coming to CLC3 in November. During his deployment in '11, he did UMO and a few other things...but who wants to put UMO on their OER?!? I just hope that he does well and that MAJ King doesn't fail him on Monday!
