Local grocery store

Back when I was an English teacher, I remember wishing I had commissary access -- there are some things you just can't get in Korea. Now that I'm in the military, I can easily buy things like canned, chopped (or minced) clams. With that said, it's also nice to have 내 고향 마트 ("My Hometown Mart") a ten minute walk down the street. In Korea, fresh mussels are really cheap, and similarly, there are some things you just can't get at the commissary.

Just one of the many reasons it's nice to be stationed in Korea.
