Everland

My unit had a "company picnic" sort of event today at the Everland theme park -- Korea's closest thing to Disney World. It was a great time of the year to go -- kids were in school, so there weren't many crowds, and the weather was very pleasant. I'm not one for wild rides, and the kids are still too short for most things, so the cable cars were about the extent of our craziness. Among the various sections there was a Europe area, complete with a decent Italian restaurant and a pseudo-German food courtyard (meaning it had Coke and Korea-style sausages).
The kids had a good time running around the rose garden and looking at the Madagascar figures. From what I understand, they light up like lanterns in the evening. I think the neatest spot was this half-circle fountain near the rose garden.
