Today my company went for a ski trip to Pyeongchang (평창) -- the place where the 2018 winter Olympics will be. Everyone had their choice of ski or snowboard, and I went with the snowboard. Though it was about $100, it was a lot of fun and the chance to get out of the office was worth it.
Of course, as the battalion's safety officer, it was my job to send up the accident reports after we got back. Three people suffered "Class D" accidents in December, all skiing-related.
It's all fun and games till someone gets hurt. Then there are reports to be filed.
