It reminded me of the times my dad took my sister and I to the Berlin (NJ) Auction when I was a kid, so it was good fun -- at least for the first 30 minutes.
Then I remembered that I have a 9 year-old and a 7 year-old, and it tempered my enthusiasm. There's only so much walking (and NOT buying stuff) they can do before it gets just plain tedious.
Nevertheless, my wife was able to find some good deals, and I got a fresh coconut for $5. Plus we got some freshly cut sugar cane, which I'd never had before.
If nothing else, I can say we've been there and done that.
The swap meet takes place on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Swap meet
Today I took the family to the Aloha Stadium swap meet.
It reminded me of the times my dad took my sister and I to the Berlin (NJ) Auction when I was a kid, so it was good fun -- at least for the first 30 minutes.
