Day 28 - Actual Zeroing

Today worked out better than I thought it would. Did 60/120s for PT, then headed off to the M-16 range to zero our weapons. I got a "Go" on the first round, though not without considerable effot.

Breakfast in the field, ham & shrimp jambalaya (#22) for lunch. It’s half decent because there isn’t much in there – no candy, only wheat snack bread (with grape jelly) and poppyseed cake, and vanilla shake mix, which I traded for almonds. Good trade.

I helped DS B make a spreadsheet for the Go / No-Gos. He seemed impressed and said the drill sergeant version of “thank you.”

Tomorrow looks like it will be more of the same.

[Heard a sonic boom, and saw the contrail. That was neat...]
