Day 33 - Home on the Range

Company circuit for PT, then trans to the range for random pop ups at 75, 175, and 300m targets. I got a 2nd time go, but out of 54 shots I don’t know exactly how many hit.

Several guys messed up today. There were a few with “negligent discharges” of their weapons on the range. That’s pretty serious stuff – Article 15 material. In another situation, ne of the guys in the platoon stole peanut butter from the DFAC and got caught – ratted out by someone in another platoon. As a result, DS A checked everyone’s lockers and dumped five-gallon jugs of water on the guys who had dirty laundry in their lockers. Then we had 20 minutes to clean up the nearly fifty gallons of water on the floor. sigh . We made it happen by pulling out all the mops and using our personal towels to dry what was left. Not easy, but we got it done.

What’s scary is that could have been me – there was one time when I hadn’t finish everything, and I took a couple peanut butter packets out. My
