NTC Day 9

With units going out to the Box, the main dining facility is now closed -- our company's MKT is the only place available for breakfast and dinner now.

I guess company headquarters duty is cancelled; now that we've got missions at all hours of the day (1st & 2nd during the night, and 3rd during the day), it doesn't make much sense pulling the LTs off just to sit in the HQ tent.

One of the other companies had an accident -- a senior driving instuctor rear-ended another truck in the middle of a dusty road. Whether it was because of the dust or because he had fallen asleep is unclear, but it stands as a warning for us to be careful.

We fill out time nowadays with hip-pocket, ad-hoc training, like you can see in this crowd:

One difference, though, is that we use the designated briefing tent -- it's got chairs.
