Minnesotan faithlessness

The Electoral College offically elected Bush president this past week. Perhaps the most interesting thing about it, if not the debate on irregularities in Ohio, was the fact someone from Minnesota voted for John Edwards!

Electors who don't vote according to their state's popular vote are called "faithless electors." The best story I've seen about the issue is here. It's never caused a crisis or anything, but it does make for a good footnote in history for people like me.

"And he did not do many miracles there because of their lack of faith." -Matthew 13:58
